Gentle Morning Yoga-w/Vanessa Monday-Friday: 9-10:15 am In this class students will learn the basics in a fun and supportive environment. Class includes instruction in basic yoga postures to build strength, stamina, flexibility and balance. Includes breathing and relaxation techniques as well.
Blissfully Balanced Class-w/ Dawn Tues & Thurs: 10:30-11:30 am In this class students will gain knowledge, strength, stamina, and suppleness and feel blissfully balanced as we learn to listen to our body in a new way, and honor its limitations. Each class will focus on an introduction to basic yoga poses, healthy alignment and yogic breathing. The class ends with deep relaxation, leaving the students in a rejuvenated and serene state.
Yoga at the Wall w/Cecelia NEW CLASS! Tuesdays 7:00-8:15 pm This class focuses on proper alignment using the support of the wall to safely customize your practice to your intensity. Beginners will find their pace, while experienced practitioners can enjoy a surprising challenge. Yoga at the Wall is Yoga your way.
Stress Relief- w/ Jamie Tuesdays 9:30-10:45 pm Offered in the evening, this class offers a variety of techniques to minimize anxiety and cope with the stresses we deal with on a day to day basis. Breathing techniques, gentle stretches, and a guided relaxation are included in each session, creating a soothing finale to the day. It is available to all levels of yoga experience, and is particularly therapeutic for late workers and restless sleepers.
Vinyasa (Level I)- w/Crystal Wednesdays 8:15-9:30 pm This class will stay true to Vinyasa format: flowing from one pose to the next with a connecting breath. Level I will slow the flow down, giving time to learn the pose. Level II will pick up the pace. Good for the beginner through intermediate students. Even a practiced yogi might want to drop in and get back to basics.
Yoga for Mobility w/ Cecelia Fridays 10:30-11:30 am Beginner-Advanced This class focuses on joint-freeing sequences that gently increase muscle tone. These postures will improve your balance, strength, and mental clarity. You can choose to pracice from a chair, supported by the wall, or free standing. Each session will include breathing techniques aimed to increase lung capacity and strengthen the heart. Seniors or those with limited mobility welcome. A list of medical/physical limitations will help us customize the class to fit your needs.
Lunchtime Yoga (or Yoga at the Wall) w/ Cecelia Fridays, 12 noon-1 pm Beginner-Advanced: Exhale your tensions and energize your body with Lunchtime yoga. This class is a one-stop shop for full body toning in a peaceful enviornment. Release the stress of the workweek, and get a jump start on your weekend with this convenient class.
Prana-fusion Yoga w/Cecelia Saturdays, 9:30-10:45 am This is a class for those with at least a beginners background in yoga. Develop increased flexibility and strength, while focusing on alignment and breath control. In each session, we will practice cleansing/energizing breathing techniques to accompany Hatha postures and Vinyasa flows. This exciting combination of styles, brought to you in this format will help you develop your ability to calm your mind during stressful times. If your aspirations in yoga include becomning a pretzel that can do headstands..this is the class for you!
Kids Yoga! w/Jamie NEW CLASS! Saturdays, 11am-12 noon Kids aged 8 and under! Introduce your child(ren) to yoga at an early age, when they love to bend and twist and stretch anyway! Jamie has a creative, imaginative approach when teaching kids to incorporate yoga into their lives. Parents, you are welcome to join the class to learn how to do yoga, or how to introduce it to your kids. Get ready for some yoga fun!!
Slow Flow w/ Jamie Saturdays, 12:30-1:30 pm A gentle, slow flow series of basic yoga positions, designed to give you a good foundation in yoga, and confidence to attend any yoga class with some basic knowledge.
Relax and Revive-w/ Liz Sundays 12:00-1:15 pm This is a restorative class for all levels. It is designed to de-stress you after a long week, then re-energize you for the week to come. Classes will focus on twists and standing postures.
Beginner Yoga w/Liz Sunday February 12 and Sunday February 26- ONLY Learn the basics in a fun, safe environment. Liz has a gentle approach and can give you the foundation you need to feel comfortable in any yoga class.
